Subrata Sen is an award winning filmmaker in India. He has been a journalist
with mainline newspapers, Anandabazar Patrika and The Statesman, Kolkata and
New Delhi between 1987 and 2000. An avid writer in Bengali and English, he is
also on the editorial board of The Little Magazine.

Nil Nirjane (2002) Story, Script and direction. The first digital feature film in India. Censored: October, 2002.
Awards: Best Experimental Film Award at Down Under Film Festival, Australia.
Shirin-ra (2002) (telefilm) Story, script and direction. Shot in digital format
for Etv Bangla. Telecast on 29 June, 2002.
